Haruka (18) and Aki (15) are placed in the same hospital room while receiving treatment for their terminal illnesses. Haruka dreams of killing the father who walked out on her and ruined her life. Aki has a bucket list of things she wants to do before she dies. Together the two of them escape from the hospital and set out in search of Haruka’s father, checking off items from Aki’s so long as they don’t interfere with their journey. Facing up to human life, death, and existence, what will the two of them find at their destination? Their three-day journey begins.

ある日の夜、遥華は病室を出ようとするが失敗。なんとか病院を抜け出したい遥華は亜希と共に病院脱走計画をたて、アクシデントに見舞われながらもなんとか脱走を果たす。まったく価値観の違った二人だったが、道中で徐々に友情が芽生えだす。さらに旅を通し様々な人々との出会いを通し、遥華は人の温かさを、亜希は病院ではない外の世界の厳しさを感じ人として成長して行くのだった。
