Thanks again to our fans, volunteers, staff members, distributors, sponsors, venue, and supporters, for making this year's LA EigaFest yet another successful film festival.
We changed venues this year and got exposure to a whole new crowd. People who have never heard about our festival showed interest and some even bought tickets on the spot. We also have our loyal fans who come to our film festival every year. Some even upgraded their regular tickets to a festival pass.
Our red carpet was the most glamorous one yet with not only guests from Japan but also local talent attending and showing their support.
All five directors who were selected as finalists for the Golden Zipangu Award came to the US to attend LA EigaFest and present their film.
Many attendees of the business panel let us know how they appreciated being able to learn about the intricacies of the Japanese animation business here in the US directly from business executives who deal with it on an every day basis.
We believe Japanese films and talent have a lot to offer and we will strive to continue showcasing them through our festival.
Thank you once again for all your support and we hope we can continue this tradition.
With warm regards,
Hayato Mitsuishi
Festival Director, LA EigaFest

Congratulations to both directors for receiving the awards and congratulations to the other finalists for showing their films at LA EigaFest 2015. These were all great films that the audience really enjoyed as evident by the Q&A that followed.
We will start call for submissions for LA EigaFest 2016 in January, 2016!
