A drama telling the story of a mother/son relation only built on writings. Yuji, a college student living with his mother starts a diary. One day, he understands his mother Kazumi read it, speaking of something only written in his journal. He discovers she keeps a secret diary too, where she phantasms on the ideal life her stillborn child would have had if still alive. But reading that he's dead in this fictional world makes him furious, and he decides to write imaginary facts too to take his revenge. By doing this, they gradually create their own vision of their ideal family.

会話のない親子が日記のみで交流する姿を描いたドラマ。
生まれてからずっと母親と2人暮らしの大学生・雄司は、ふとしたきっかけで日記をつけはじめる。ある日、日記を読まなければ知りえないことを母の和美が知っていることに気づく。しかし雄司もまた、母が密かにつけていた日記を発見。そこには死産した弟との理想の生活がつづられていた。母の日記の中で自分のことが悪く書かれていたことに腹を立てた雄司は、自分の日記にも嘘をつづり、母に仕返しをしようとする。
やがて、2人は次第に日記の中に理想の家族像を見出していく。
